March Marshmallow Mania Madness!

Did you know March is marshmallow month? Actually it's not, but it should be because the kids had some great times throwing marshmallows at each other. Nicky caught 13 in a row! A world record!

Cookies for Cody

Nicky's brother, Cody, is serving a mission in Iowa. We decided to send him a care package. The kids and I cut out pictures from church magazines, and pasted them onto construction paper frames. Then they made cookies!
And Colin and I ate them all gone.
Just kidding. Everyone helped sample the cookies just to make sure they were tasty enough to send to Cody!
It was truly a happy day.

Calvin's chocolate chip cookies were very good, but a little flat. Not quite sure how that happened but they were sure good!

We had a great time visiting with Heidi and her kids, Jasmine, Caleb, Josh, and Nathan while they were in town visiting family. It's always so much fun to connect with our good friends from Sparks!

Tiffany and Tameeka love to dress up! Between Halloween costumes and some of Emily's old dresses, they can come up with some pretty fancy costumes!

Pi Day

Brad and Whitney had "pi day" at their home. There was quite a variety of all different pies, and I wish I had remembered to take pictures of them at the party! Whitney gave everyone a calculator and we all got to hold up a different number for 3.14..... The kids made a few pies.

This one came out great! It's toasted coconut pudding cream pie. Yum!

This pie didn't turn out so hot. It's some kind of chocolate pie, but the consistency was a little off, and didn't spread too well.

Play dough

It must have been snowing outside, because I made play dough. This is Emily's new and improved birthday cake (Ty smashed her first one)!
The kids sometimes like to sample the play dough, so that very well could be what is on Tameeka's face. Ty appears sad, but he really did have a good time!

Scripture Study

This is Nicky's scripture study-buddy, Taylor. They get together often to study scriptures which is awesome! He's in my Sunday school class- great young man! I've been very impressed with the comments my Sunday school kids make in class. They are thinkers, and they're striving to make good choices in their lives! They are great kids and I love being with them each week as we study the Old Testament.
