We decided to get some winter hats and coats on Halloween morning.  Good timing because it was freezing that night! I love the hats the girls chose!

Trick-or-treating with Jasmine Mills. The kids had a blast! Nala dressed as Emily the diver's shark, but she's not shown in this pic.  Em made a fin out of duct tape and attached it on a T-shirt Nala wore.  Jasmine dressed as a beautiful witch, Ty went as himself, the twins as cats, and Dev as "Jack" the originator of the Jack-o-lantern.  Later, we went to Ma and Pa's house with our friend Shannah.  Had a fun time visiting while the T's watched "How to Train Your Dragon 2".

Shannah

This is my friend Shannah! Our mutual friend Jessica Ludlow introduced us.  Shannah is deaf, and teaches ASL at UNR.  I introduced the oils to Shannah, and gave her some samples.  A few weeks later, she enrolled, and then we went to the temple, where we first met.  Shannah is going places with doTERRA, I know it! I am so excited to be working with her.  She is going to be a big influence in the deaf community through doTERRA.  So glad I get to be a part of this!

Two years since Ray passed away

Colin and I joined Leona and Dale at the Sizzler.  They ordered steak and potatoes, in honor of Ray's favorite meal there.  We miss you, Ray and Grandpa! The T's still pray that you are "having fun in heaven, and looking down upon us on earth."

Devon got his license!

Congrats for passing! You are a great driver, Devon!
I took the T's to pick out prizes for completing their home school work books.  They are excited to earn more prizes after they finish their next one!

Colin in Canada

Only two pics from his trip! Colin did a fantastic job in Canada, working with our leader Christine, and enrolling a family from his mission, the Sanders.  When Colin was a missionary, he became friends with the Sanders, and gave them this picture of Joseph Smith that he drew! They pulled it out when he came over, because they have kept it all of these years.
The Sanders are mutual friends with the Burtons.  I met Heather online through other friends.  She is a great supporter of Mayan Treasure, and we feel that we will continue to share and be connected in our Guatemala experiences.  This sweet couple lost their son in an accident, while he was serving as a missionary in Guatemala about a year ago.  Our heart goes out to them.

Ward Halloween Party

I was happy to see one of the trunk-or-treat rooms had the choice of popcorn over candy! What did my kids do with the gobs of Halloween candy they got this year? I let them choose 2 pieces to eat, then they played with the rest, meaning put the candy in water and did little experiments with mixing colors and stirring. I told them I would pay them for the rest of their candy and they could buy a toy instead.  So, now it's all in the garbage can where it belongs! Yay!

I think Nala missed us while we were at the party!

Dave Sterling in Reno

How fun to have the Corbridges at the Silver and above dinner! Colin was in Canada doing events, so he had to miss.  I love that the doTERRA founders do these post-convention tours.  Great event with David Sterling, CEO of doTERRA!

Calvin cake smashing!

Elder-Cake-Smasher-Kelly! In his caption he said that too many treats came that week.  He made a short video of him smashing the cake which was so fun to see him in action! I'm really grateful that Calvin is making such good food choices on his mission.  Before he left, we talked about how he would be a better, healthier, and more effective missionary if he was eating healthy, which he always has done for the most part.  He drinks smoothies in the mornings, and does things like smash desserts! Sadly, he says that most of the elders load up on junk food and buy whatever is cheapest.  How sad! I know he is inspiring many though, with his healthy eating.  I could't be more pleased about that!
A view from his car, driving.
We sent Calvin a Nutri Bullet so he can make smoothies (green and fruit). Calvin said that his comp. Elder Merkley reads this like book the scriptures!

An investigator brought them some bananas!

My friend Natalie showed me a necklace she bought in Bolivia.  Same kind of style.  Beautiful!

Horses!

We met Cara (who is now a doTERRA Wellness Advocate) through a mutual friend.  She works at Reno Riding, which is a wild mustang rescue, as well as a horse boarding place.  Dev and Em have been volunteering there every Thurs., and love it! They get to groom the horses, muck the stalls, walk the horses, and ride them!

We found out Jordan Leyva also volunteers there! Small world!
