So long Swinging Bridge!  One of our favorite places to go.
Taking a walk on the Grape Path during General Conference sessions. (can you tell that Calvin is taller than me and Devon is almost as tall?!)

Making hydrogen

One of the books the boys chose at the library for science had an experiment on how to make hydrogen.  It was a success!  They made their own hydrogen!

Hair prep

I tried to talk Tiffany into wearing her hair in this cute poof style, but she wanted extensions like Tameeka.  So, I cut a bunch of yarn (I had some helpers- thank you!), got everything set up...
...and finished about 7 hours later.  After a few days Tiffy said, "I want you to take my braids out."  Um, not gonna happen.  Luckily she's liking them just fine now, and I even saw her admiring herself in the mirror tonight doing different styles and swishing her hair around.  Whew!

52 Origami

Devon made one origami crane every day leading up to his birthday!

Forgot about the babysitter...

I scheduled a babysitter one night because I would be in Salem teaching a doTERRA class at my friend Donna's house.  Holly Stirling came over to babysit, and Colin, Calvin, and Devon got a ride from someone to scouts.  So Holly, Em, and the T's hung out until the guys got home around 9pm.  About 9:30, Colin calls me and says, "um, how is Holly getting home?"  "Oh my gosh, I forgot!"  There I was, having a grand old time at Donna's house, and I totally spaced the fact that there was no way for our babysitter to get home!  Probably because we've only had like one babysitter come over in the last year, since the older kids are the ones who babysit.  Rarely is everyone gone at the same time who is of babysitting age (or both of us).  So we finished up, I drove home (45 min away) and came home to find that the kids were having all kinds of fun being goofy!  It really was quite the party, so it all worked out!

Sellin' our stuff

This is a queen size head board that we've used for our king sized bed (it's a little short but it works) for the last 15 or so years!  We bought it from the DI and I borrowed a manly sander tool from someone and sanded it all myself as a surprise for Colin.  That was 15 years ago.  Now it's up for sell :)
Here's the kids hoping all our items will sell.  Many have! It's been a fun project for the kids.  Calvin has headed it up.  It has been quite involved and this is what the kids have done: came up with the prices, cleaned all items for sale, photographed all the items- taking care that the pictures are well lit and centered for marketing purposes.  Then Calvin listed all the items on KSL.  The first batch of stuff he put Colin and my cell numbers on as the contacts, but after that, he switched it to his number, so he's been taking the calls and scheduling times for people to come look at the stuff.  When people come to buy something, the kids help carry the items out to their car, and of course, collect the cash which is the fun part :)  It's been a great project and quite the learning experience.

Primary Program Signers

We had our primary program at church (I've been the primary chorister for about a year).  Here's the group of signers who participated in the song "If I Listen With My Heart."  They did a great job and it was so fun working with them!
 Neat kids!
