Random Moments

Calvin enjoyed his 4 months at American Heritage School. He decided to go a different direction and now attends Timberline a few days a week. He loves his manufacturing class, art, seminary, and he's also taking science. The above picture was taken after his last day at AHS. Little did any of us know he would be showered with gifts! He got a chocolate cake with M&M's on top that said "we'll miss U" from Misha, chocolate covered pear and candy bars from Elisa, an AHS blanket and nice note from Elisa's Mom, cookies and a note from Cynthia, a letter from everybody, and "about a million hugs."
Another outing to the frozen pond! Devon was chucking big rocks into the frozen lake, and finally one broke through.
Naps on the bean bag! (Ty had been asleep but woke up when he hear me! So, he's pretending to be asleep.)

Cooking

The T's love to cook! I set out all the stuff to make enchiladas, and they practically made dinner all by themselves!

After the enchiladas were in the oven, Ty and Tiff used some left-over ingredients to make a "cake".
This wasn't the cake made from enchilada remains. This is a healthy chocolate cake, and the kids had fun putting sprinkles on it!

The boys made a snowman, then used him for target practice!

They filled a zip-lock baggie with some hot sauce and stuck it in the snowman's head. It never did explode and ooze after being struck with the arrow like they had planned, but it was still a pretty creative idea!

Lunch

Not sure why I took a pic of my kids eating lunch. I guess they just looked cute! Tiffany insisted I take a photo of her posing, so this is her pose.
Ty has such a great smile!

Glowing Mountain Dew...sort of

Devon read about a science experiment on how to make Mountain Dew glow. So, I bought a small bottle of it and Devon went to work. Combining baking soda and hydrogen peroxide in the Mountain Dew supposedly made it glow. So, we turned off all the lights, Dev shook up the bottle, and...

...it didn't glow. Later, Dev found out that his source was faulty. Oh well, the kids each got to have a few sips of the forbidden Mountain Dew, which they all thought was pretty exciting!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Devon painted a Valentine's Day picture on his art wall outside. Great colors and nicely shaped hearts!

Paper "snow" angels

Paper "snow" angels. I love when the kids think of creative things to do!

Something funny that the triplets do all day long, is the whole, "will you be my best friend?" dialogue. For example, when Ty does something to Tiff that she doesn't like (not sharing a toy or something), Tiff will whine to Tameeka, "Meeka, will you be my best friend?" The minute that phrase is uttered, the person who is in "trouble" (Ty in this example) will inevitably call out, "sorry!" Then everyone is "best friends" again. I should count how many times I hear this dialogue go on between the three of them throughout the day! It's tons!

doTERRA box

The kids and I painted this doTERRA box for Natalie for her birthday. We've painted several, and it's a lot of fun!

Thanksgiving Point

Devon went on a scouting trip to Thanksgiving Point. He really liked the indoor "jungle" and the outdoor gardens, so we decided to go check it out. It was beautiful!




The kids love taking pictures of birds! This one is either a pigeon or a dove...we couldn't tell.
