Palenque

We opted for the self-guided tour this time, however there was an old man who had been a tour guide for a few decades.  Maybe next time! He knew a lot.

One more time....without the people in the background.

There were symbols of "T's" everywhere! Not sure why.

Ant bridge! This was fascinating! We knocked down their "insect bridge" to see what would happen, and they scrambled around for a bit, but then re-built it.

Almond tree- huge and beautiful!

"Wait! One last pyramid before we leave!"

"ok, we're done!"

Back to the hotel, where Keta waited patiently for us.  That night we went to dinner and it poured rain like we've never seen! We used our big beach umbrella just to get from the car to the restaurant.
