Devon's Pre-Birthday celebration!

We did the majority of b-day celebrating with Devon the Saturday before his birthday. The day started with a backyard cleanup project. We borrowed a trailer and hauled all our junk off to...
...the dump!
The dump is a very exciting place. Big tractors charge full speed at huge piles, and the piles get taller and taller. I stayed in the car with Em and the triplets. Ty was very excited watching the big trucks and would burst out with phrases such as, "ooooo lookit the big truck!" Calvin and Devon had a ball chucking junk into the pile.

Then we went to the duck pond just behind Lone Peak High School. The pond was no longer frozen and the ducks weren't acting hungry. Nevertheless, we kept throwing chunks of bread to them. I asked the girls to do something funny, hence the above poses!
What handsome boys!

Skipping rocks.

After the duck pond adventure, Colin dropped myself and the triplets at home, and he took the older kids geocaching!
They climbed pretty high in search of buried treasure.

Here's one of the caches they found.

Another cache.

This wasn't a geocache find. The kids said they saw lots of dead animals on their adventure though, so I included them too just for the heck of it.
We went out for Devon's birthday dinner. Nicky had eaten dinner with some friends at this great Chinese place, so we tried it out and it was awesome! Here's Devon with 2 of his favorite foods- pot stickers and egg rolls.
We were all pretty impressed with how well the triplets did using chopsticks!
Wow!

This was a cool "flower" made of celery and carrot.

One must always coat the stomach after dinner out, so we headed to Macy's for some ice cream cones. We went up and down the isles and had a great time!
Is this guy happy or what?!

Team doTERRA

I'm teaching 2 essential oils classes next month, so the kids helped me put together info packets and they painted one of our doTERRA boxes. I forgot to take a picture of the finished box (the boxes hold the oils), but it's a very pretty pine tree sunset picture. Em and I have painted our other boxes in other outdoor scenery. So, look for featured doTERRA box artwork in the future!
Go team doTERRA!

Muellers!

We had such a fun visit with our friends, the Muellers, while they were in town for General Conference. We love you guys!
That's a Costco chocolate cake in case you're wondering.
...and a Costco strawberry cheesecake too. Just thought I'd clarify in case anyone thought I made those myself. :)

Happy Easter!

Here's some silly poses and faces. The kids were pretty entertaining!

Zack came over for Easter dinner since he was in town for a few days. Look how happy he is!

Easter chalk! Chalk is fun and kind of messy too. It gets tracked in the house in the way of footprints, it gets all over clothes cuz you sit in your drawings as you draw more, and sometimes it ends up on faces as a war paint kind of thing. I'm so glad I got the T's chalk for Easter!
The 3 hams!
Eater egg hunt!

Em got some serious height on her skipping!
