Funeral

Soil from Rockland, ID, where Ray grew up.

After the burial, we all gathered at the Kelly home.  Ray had done a lot of car painting as a service project for children who experience traumatic events.  In Ray's honor, we painted a large box of cars.  The kids did a great job, and we had an enjoyable and meaningful time doing this project together as a family.

Howard Ray Kelly

We mourn the loss, and celebrate the life of Ray Kelly.  He was a man of great faith and devotion to the Lord.  Ray and Leona raised eight exceptional children, and I am grateful for the stalwart examples they have laid forth for their posterity.  We all miss Dad/Grandpa/Ray.  We miss his smiles, jokes, prayers, stories, and love.  We anxiously await the day when we can see him again on the other side of the veil.  We know he is very busy watching over his family who misses him so much.  We also know he is busy doing missionary work on the other side...the work that he so loved during his days in mortality.
Separated for a small moment...together for eternity.
