Gingerbread House

The kids thought it would be fun to make a gingerbread house. Calvin found instructions online, so we bought the ingredients and went to work. Ma helped the kids make the gingerbread pieces. They put the rest together and did a great job! It was our first gingerbread house endeavor.
We couldn't find a professional frosting squeezer, so Emily came up with the idea to use a ketsup squeezer. Calvin cut the top off a bit more so the frosting had more room to get out.

Calvin frustrated because the roof kept falling over and collapsing the walls! They had to come up with an alternative roof plan.
Flat-roof solution.
It's a beauty!
Ta-daa!
At the end, the boys had some fun with the whipped cream they were snacking on.

Eat it!!
