Santander and Guatemalan figurines

We bought Ty, Tiff, and Tameeka these awesome Guatemalan back packs for our plane ride to Hawaii.  We filled them full of activities (stickers, pens, notepads, etc.).
These nice women sell purses, rugs, table cloths, etc. on the street called Santander.  They were fascinated with the girls, as are most people.  They love to touch their hair!  The twins asked me if they could give this woman a hug.  So they gave her a hug, which she thought was the cutest thing ever!

Emily made these amazing figurines out of clay!  They all represent people we see here in Guatemala.  The first is a woman riding on a donkey, a woman holding a baby, a woman holding a baby with a basket of oranges on her head, a woman with a basket of tortillas on her head, and a woman with a baby and a traditional braid on her head.
