Jellyfish sting

The kids have been stung by small blue jellyfish many times while playing in the ocean.  It's pretty common from what we hear.  Nothing like this one though!  Colin had taken the older kids to "Pounders" which is a beach close by us with huge waves.  As Calvin was boogie boarding in the waves, he said he felt like something grabbed him from behind and he had shooting pain (like a knife) that went all through him! At first he thought he'd be okay, but he just wasn't feeling better, so they all came home and we put some melaleuca, peppermint, and lavender on the areas, and vinegar on his feet.  Colin was googling it, and found out a very hot shower was recommended also.  He felt much better after about an hour.  Dumb jellyfish- I don't like them.  But now you know what to do if you ever get stung by a jellyfish!
