| Arriving in Guatemala just a few days before Christmas, we had a pretty simple one, which is the best kind! It was our first year without a Christmas tree, but we got excited about making a tree out of extra ribbon from our friend Lucy, and put it on our front door. Isn't it beautiful?! |

| Gifts included, 100 Quetzales each for the older kids (about $13 U.S.), Angry Birds beannies, a brush for Em, a dog paw necklace for Em from Calvin and Dev, drawing paper, scotch tape, and some plastic dish ware for the little ones. |
