Flight to Guatemala

We drove to Las Vegas from UT on Wed., had a nice family dinner at the Foote's home that night, then Dave and Mike drove us to the airport.  Our flight left at 11:30pm and we arrived in FL, very tired, at 3am (which was 6am FL time).  After a 4 hour lay-over, we flew the rest of the way to Guatemala City.

Tiffany somehow had quite a bit of energy and was serving as our entertainment!
I had made an activity bag for the kids which came in very handy!  All their favorite stuff: scissors, notepads, markers, tape, a couple toys, and of course- gum!

Customs was a piece of cake (we've heard if you have kids with you, it goes way faster).  After we got our baggage, we were happy to see our friend, Greg Denning, to greet us, along with Greg Jensen's driver.

We stopped at a "fast food" restaurant in Guatemala City.  Tameeka was pretty sacked out!

The drive up to Panajechel was several hours long.  There is farm land galore, and families working their farms.  The sights were amazing, but we all gave in to sleep after a while.
