Drive from Guate to UT

We had to wait at this office place while Colin and Lucy went back to this other office in a nearby town to get copies of all our documents (why they didn't have a copy machine at this main place is still beyond me). Colin lost his driver's license in the process and they retraced their steps and found it on the street (it had fallen out of his pocket when they got off the bus....thank you for praying to find his license Lucy, or we might still be in MX!).  Getting out of Guatemala was crazy too, since we lost our car title and they almost didn't let us out of the country.  You need your title to prove you didn't steal the vehicle.  Again, lots of prayer is the only reason I can think of that the stern guards finally let us cross. So here we are finding ways to amuse ourselves during the wait for the documents.  Devon struck up a conversation with the guard, and asked him if he ever had to shoot anyone who tried to sneak across the border (I don't remember his answer).  He was real nice and answered all of Devon's questions.
We decided this would be the perfect opportunity to take Tiffany's extensions out, so we all took turns working on it.  Another guard kept walking past us, clearly amused at what we were doing.

I know it's kind of gross, but it really was quite a surprise to get out of the car at the gas station and find a dead bird plastered to the door handle! Now that just doesn't happen every day!
Tiffany picked some beautiful flowers:)
We made it to TX! The river walk was so beautiful!

Calvin had to work hard holding up this falling tree.

Remember the Alamo
Mosaic cleaning

Made it to CO! Dinner with the Stark family

This place is called "Valley of the Gods" (I think)
